ARTIST’S BIOGRAPHY
Francisco Cienfuegos was born in 1965 in Piura, in northern Peru.
He was endowed with a natural artistic temperament and disposition. In fact, Cienfuegos displayed a prodigious ability to draw even before learning to read and write. The surroundings of Piura, renowned for its rich and vibrant landscape, was the catalyst for a young aspiring artist.
The Peruvian geography forged his artistic sensibilities and molded his soul. Nature was the "real school" for Cienfuegos.
At the age of twenty Cienfuegos journeyed to Lima to expose himself to higher art. He worked at different jobs in order to finance his art education. His talents were soon discovered, and he was encouraged by the likes of Peruvian master Oscar Cruz to pursue an artistic career.
The next few years saw Cienfuegos taking on numerous commissions, and his reputation rapidly spread throughout artistic circles. It was during this crucial time that his painting style had developed and matured. Cienfuegos' style is characterized by a "hyper-realism".
His still life representations are extraordinary to the degree that the viewer can almost sense the aroma and flavor of the subject matter. The tremendous skill and precision, coupled with intense emotional expression are reminiscent of the classical masters. Cienfuegos strives to "demonstrate the capacity for displaying the perfect image.
" The viewer must exercise the same level of patience as the artist employed in creating it. Cienfuegos' works are best approached with inarticulate admiration, where the sheer beauty of the work is amplified in silence. Cienfuegos' mission statement is succinct: "art is in my blood". He is the perfectionist whose destiny as a great artist was never in doubt.
His critically acclaimed work can be seen in countless galleries including Sao Paulo, Lima, Florida, and Canada. His paintings are valuable acquisitions for many private collectors and dealers.
Cienfuegos claims that "art is the language of the artist". If this is true then this Peruvian artist is speaking volumes.

BIOGRAFIA DEL ARTISTA
Francisco Cienfuegos nació en 1965 en Piura, en el norte de Perú.
Fue dotado de un temperamento artístico natural desplegando una habilidad prodigiosa al dibujar incluso antes de aprender a leer y escribir.
Piura, reconocida por su paisaje hermoso y colorido fue la inspiración para un artista joven y ambicioso, forjando y amoldando su sensibilidad artística. La naturaleza fue "realmente una escuela" para él, y es por eso que es Autodidacta por vocación.
A la edad de diecinueve años viaja a la ciudad de Lima para aprender más sobre las artes plásticas. Tuvo que trabajar en diferentes cosas para financiarse sus estudios de arte. Su talento fue descubierto pronto, por el profesor peruano Oscar Cruz que le gustó su estilo y lo animó a seguir una carrera artística.
En los próximos años Cienfuegos asume numerosos trabajos y su reputación creció rápidamente a lo largo de los círculos artísticos. Durante este tiempo crucial el estilo de su pintura había desarrollado y había madurado.
Su estilo se caracteriza por un "Híper-realismo".
La tremenda habilidad y precisión en el dibujo, acoplado con la intensa expresión emocional teniendo como maestros a los pintores clásicos, Cienfuegos se esfuerza por "demostrar su capacidad y plasmar en el lienzo la imagen perfecta”.
Sus representaciones de vida inmóviles son tan extraordinarias al grado que el espectador puede sentir casi el aroma y sabor de la fruta, y debe ejercer el mismo nivel de la sensibilidad que emplea el artista al crear sus obras para poder apreciar lo que en realidad quiere transmitir.
Las pinturas de Cienfuegos se aproximan a la mayor admiración inarticulada dónde se amplifica la pura belleza del trabajo. Él es el perfeccionista cuyo destino como un gran artista estaba en duda.
Su trabajo críticamente aclamado puede verse en innumerables exposiciones incluso en Sao Paulo, Lima, Florida, y Canadá, sus pinturas son las valiosas adquisiciones para muchos coleccionistas privados y distribuidores de arte.
El pensamiento de Cienfuegos es que: "El arte está en mi sangre y es el idioma del artista". Entonces es verdad que este artista peruano está demostrando lo que habla.
